Research protocol
1PR Research Methodology
The operating standard for transparent first-party SEO, GEO, CRO and acquisition experiments.
- State the business or discovery question.
- Define the hypothesis before looking at outcomes.
- Record the baseline, date range, environment and measurement source.
- Change as few meaningful variables as practical.
- Record confounders, implementation changes and data-quality limitations.
- Publish the result even when it is neutral or contradicts the hypothesis.
- Separate observations from causal claims.
- Connect commercial tests to qualified outcomes where possible.
Publication rule
Do not convert a protocol into a claimed result. A study page must identify the actual method, data source, observation window, limitations and conclusion.
